Play and Learn Playgroups are a two-hour class that parents and caregivers attend with their child. Each class includes art and crafts, a structured circle time with movement, music, a story, and a different parenting topic for discussion with the adults. Discussion topics are specific to the needs of the families and the ages of the children, and often include sleep, discipline, language development, self-care, and more. Bring a snack, meet up with other parents & children, and prepare to have fun! Family playgroups build parental resilience, social connections, knowledge of parenting and child development, concrete support in times of need, and social & emotional competence of children. Caregivers who attend our Play and Learn classes report feeling more informed, supported, and capable in their role.
Winter Session Playgroups start January 7 and continues through April 1. No Class February 18!
